I looked through a pair of EL Range 10x42 a few weeks ago and I instantly regretted it…Now I want one for myself.

I have 10 x42 EL’s and SLC’s.  I prefer the EL’s. Kinda wish I would have gone with the 10x42 EL range but they were new at the time and I wasn’t sure.

I have the EL Range and love them. Bought them at the Portland sport show. The guy at the G4 booth gave me a 10% discount and didn't have to pay tax. You wont regret it.

I’m a big swaro fan like most. Have had the spotters for years. I have yet to own a pair of binos. I have a pair of Leica 2100 range. I have looked through swaro’s side by side and honestly can’t tell much of a difference. For a 1k price difference I most likely won’t ever switch.

But the bullet last year and went with the NL Pure 12x42. I upgraded from vortex vipers 10x42. Worth every penny. I wish I had sooner. Should be the last pair I buy until I hand them down to my kids in 15 years!

As others have said, buy once cry once!

I think you also have to decide if you want range finding in your binos or not. I use a ballistics calculating Revic and prefer that over the range finding in binos. To each their own.

U absolutely cannot go wrong with the swaros, after getting over the initial cost.

I pack the EL Range TA, currently.  I’ve had some variation of Swarovski binoculars since 2001 or so.  I’ve also dabbled in Leica and Zeiss over the years.   I like the Swarovski glass the best.   

I always pack what I believe are the best hunting binoculars on the market and that’s the EL Range TA right now.

I also pack the 15x56 religiously as not one pair will do everything, but from an efficiency standpoint, it’s hard to beat the new EL Range.   I’ve also found the ballistic calculator to be extremely accurate once dialed in and it’s nice to be able to move between my 28 Nosler and 6.5 PRC with a click of a button..

Kinda like getting your wisdom teeth pulled.  You know its going to hurt for a day and then everything just straightens out and you wonder why you didnt do it earlier.  They are just a pleasure to look through

I thought the same until I looked through a pair of 12x NL Pures.

Team Green needs to come out with a straight version of the BTX.
The angled BTX doesn't work on a window mount.

I'm waiting for the 12x NL pure ranging binos before I upgrade from my SLC's. Not sure how long I'll be waiting but someday my dreams will come true
